You can be be the coarsest, most abrasive and least likable person on the planet, but if you conduct yourself with integrity and a deep sense of what's right and wrong, your character should be judged favorably.

They were his tax proposals. And, yes, Congress had to pass them. I'd say that alone counts as a win as he was able to get both branches to work together.
The amount of money in offshore accounts was to the tune of about $3 Trillion. Obama said slow-to-no growth was the new norm. Yet, Trump turned the economy around, and the deficit took care of itself. More jobs means less welfare being paid and more employed people paying taxes.
If you look at the budget, we can't operate the government without taking on debt -- our obligations are just too large. Plus, we were still funding two wars which Trump was working hard to get us out of.
Don't pretend Trump was the reason we needed more debt. The entire war effort for decades was almost 100% funded on credit.

He was there to find solutions that others failed to find. like illegal immigration, the never-ending wars, the economy, and so on. Okay, I was misremembering that the Dems lost control of the House under Obama. But, the Swamp GOP members more than made up for that.
As for the deficit, did you miss the part where I said the wars we were fighting were 100% funded with deficit spending? Those amounts compunded year after year, causing the debt to increase.
And as for 2017, that was still Obama's fiscal year and policies at work which were put in place Oct 1, 2016.

Trump was about identifying problems and fixing them. He wasn't there to try and run everything. He was there to find solutions that others failed to find. like illegal immigration, the never-ending wars, the economy, and so on. Even Pelosi gave him compliments when he did away with NAFTA and put a better system in place.

The POTUS said we must focus on Ukraine's people and their children.
