Aloha,
Is there any local shops/businesses recommended for milling services?
If not local any personal experiences using mainland shops?
End goal is to revive a M&P 1.0 by adding a RDS(need that milled out), ports, and serrations.
Mahaloz for any leads! :shaka:

I've been getting slides milled for Glocks from Thrash Tactical, via Danger Close Tactical. They were only doing Glocks for a while, but maybe they've expanded. Excellent work. I've had them so three slides now, and a bunch of shooting buddies also have had their slides milled by them.
For M&P, I was told (by trusted shooter friends) that Monsoon Tactical is one of the better. Check out Point 1 Tactics on IG. Donovan shoots M&Ps quite a bit. I believe he has recommended Monsoon Tactical for slide milling for M&Ps. Monsoon also does barrel and slide porting. I am thinking of having them do some work on a future pistol.

I've used this smith for a 1911 rear sight mill job. https://kcskustomcreations.com/kcs-kustom-creations/ He was pretty fast and reasonable. Former Marine armorer. My slide had a Novak sight cut and I wanted a bladed rear sight like the Bomar. He did a great job.
I've also visited Precision Machine in Pearl City for work related jobs. The owner told me they also work on firearms. They have a well-equipped machine shop.
