But seriously, Dillon will replace it free. You might have to ship it back though.
I have a square deal that was refurbished like new. It did cost about $80 to ship.
BTW, that machine is available but I'm not sure what it's worth...40sw

RL550C LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Dillon Precision Inc. warrants the RL550C for the life of the system against defects in material and
workmanship. Dillon Precision Inc. will either repair or replace any part(s) that prove defective. Dillon
Precision Inc. will provide repaired or replacement parts at Dillon’s choice on an exchange basis. This limited
warranty does not cover any damage to the product that results from improper installation, accident, abuse,
misuse, natural disaster, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly,
repair or modification. This limited warranty shall not apply if: (i) the product was not used in accordance with
any accompanying instructions, (ii) the product was not used for its intended function or (iii) the addition of
any non-authorized equipment.
Legacy (550B)
All Dillon machines are warrantied for life from defects in
material or workmanship (except the Super/RL 1050), plus a
one year 100% warranty against normal wear. All
electrical/electronic components in Dillon equipment are
covered by a one year warranty.

I’d be very surprised if Dillon didn’t just send you a new one. If I remember correctly when you do a 550b conversion to the 550c they tell you to just toss the 550b frame. I’ve had really good experiences with Dillon customer service.

I'm curious as to how this happened. I've loaded over 20k+ rounds in my Dillon 550b and stuck 308 brass in the die more than once. Never had a problem with the press.
