Title: Single Stage or Two Stage Trigger?
Post by: Inspector on December 14, 2012, 05:25:49 PM
This is not a firearm specific question. But just a preference and why (under what circumstances) is it a preference?

For me, most of my guns are target/match and slow fire oriented. I prefer light single stage target/match type triggers. For my AR I am also going with a single stage target/match type trigger but I decided to keep it at 3 to 3.5 pounds.

What type of trigger(s) do you prefer for your guns and why?

2 stage. Most of the weight is taken up on the 1st stage.

I'm a big fan of the 2 stage.  I think the break is more predictable and lighter with the 2 stage kits.

Single stage. I don't approve of two stage. Now, a set trigger is a different story!
