Turned in my PTA after an hour and a half wait and I was informed that emailed permits are “not a priority”. I will have to “be patient” about getting my permit if I choose to get it emailed to me. Then I was told that if I request it to be emailed and it doesn’t come in on time it will be a “problem” if I come in person to pick it up. There will be “unhappy officers”.
Just a heads up for everyone thinking about getting a PTA. Also if your parking underneath go ahead and put the maximum 2 hours in.

Hmmm interesting. I can probably do something about that.

I just want to point out that I hope what I posted didn’t come across like they were trying to be intimidating or anything. I assume by problem she meant it would just cause more work for the officers at the window but that’s really not our problem. 2 weeks is 2 weeks, if we can’t expect it to come a day early we shouldn’t be ok with it coming even a day late.
Mahalo for all you do zippz :shaka: :shaka:

It's nothing to do with intimidation. It's the mentality that it's a privilege vs a right.

Has anyone tried to pick up permit in person after asking for it to be emailed.

I went in last week Thursday for pta pistol and long gun. They ask me if I wanted it to get emailed. I told em I’ll pick it up instead. So I had to sign that I denied email and opt to pickup instead. So my pickup is next week Thursday. I got there by 7:45, paid for 1 hr parking. Got back to my truck by 8:20. Still no one else came to apply that morning. Never seen like it like that before. No line whatsoever.
