There's no thumbnail on this video. Don't know if that's a mistake, intentional, or if YT is interfering.
I signed up for a DW+ subscription during the Black Friday promo, so I know what's on my Friday night movie schedule!

Just went to the site to see how to watch on my TV (no FireTV app).
They are still running the 50% off promo for annual memberships.

I'll have to use Amazon FireTV's internet browser to watch on the TV (Amazon Silk). If you have Roku or Apple TV if you can use that TV app, or watch through your phone or computer and mirror the display or use an HDMi cable to the TV.
DW needs to get up on the App bandwagon, huh? :geekdanc:

Finished watching and gave myself some time to assimilate it all.
Nutshell: If you really like Lampoon, Chevy Chase/Griswold, and 1970s-80s SNL comedy, then this is right up your alley.
Every line almost was written to mock, affirm, embrace, laugh at, and/or inject the Radical Left's lunatic world at every turn. The gender role theme was just the foundation for every other whacko idea and "truth" the Left has imagined and embraced for the last 2 decades. The writers must have had a chore deciding what not to put into the script! There was a LOT of creativity added in spots, like having an infrared view like in "Predator" when they were being watched in the woods.
It's not in-your-face political as much as it's demonstrating just how absurd and unrealistic the delusions of the Progressives have become. You can't make this sh!# up, in other words. It offers many extreme examples of how crazy some of the Left's delusions really are, and how weaponized some of the new social constructs have become.
There are a couple of twists here and there with a big twist near the ending. And of course what would a comedy be without a sexual deviant, a stalker, and a few cameos by well known figures?
I'd say most, if not all, of the Daily Wire's podcast and YT personalities are in it, which I guess won't be a as much of a "Hey!" moment if a viewer doesn't know who they are. Lots of the dialogue was also based on things discussed or used in DW projects, videos, podcasts and products (like Jeremy's Razors -- corny, but fuh-NEE!). So, if you aren't a DW watcher, ... SWOOSH! :geekdanc:
It was produced quite well. Not a Tom Cruise production quality, but the technical aspects were very professionally done.
I will have to go back and watch it a couple more times to catch all the props and visual "aids" that were added to drive home certain scenes. I know I missed a bunch with so much to take in. Also, I found the dialogue in spots to be delivered so quickly I had difficulty catching the sarcasm, satire and mockery they were tossing out in dump truck size loads. It's like Ben Shapiro was directing a few scenes and was telling the actors not to drag their lines out!
i can see a room full of Liberals watching it asking, "What's so funny about that?" every 3 minutes.
It's funny, because it's TRUE!

It was a good B movie for people into politics where you can see the years of craziness in one movie. Best part is seeing the cameos by the dailywire cast, which makes it a friendly movie and everyone looks like they enjoyed making it.
It feels like they tried too hard. Jokes seem to linger longer than they should, and movie should've been condensed into 60 or 90 minutes.
The movies are free with a subscription and they make good free movies. I've had a dailywire subscription for a few years and listen daily to get different points of view. It's very insightful and thought provoking commentary.
