Title: Koko Head Range: Hours of ops after the 1st?

I went to practice with my gun last week and there was only HPD on the grounds (at their shooting place). I live a long ways from Koko Head, so I wanna know its hrs of ops before I drive all the way there for nothing....again!

The range has been closed during the weekdays for quite some time now.
Currently, the public is only allowed to shoot on the weekends 8am to 3:40pm on the regular rifle and pistol range and the skeet range.

Supposedly the action bays will reopen in January, but no announcement has been made yet.
Supposedly, the silhouette range is still undergoing some construction work.

If anyone has updated information, please post here.

its only closed on weekdays to citizens without a badge. If you have a badge  its like Castle Park! :thumbsup:

Also no forget you need to make a reservation for shooting slots on Saturdays and Sundays by logging on their website. Earliest is Monday for slots on Saturday and Tuesday for slots on Sunday.

Unless that has been done away with.

I called Parks & Rec, and they confirmed that until they hire more RSO staff, the range will remain closed on holidays that fall on a weekday. 

Weekends only until further notice.

the rookies, the young guys (and gals) are still pretty fit.  for a while.  it's downhill from there.  a metro PD occupational characteristic.
