I've taken math courses -- all kinds and at all levels.
Not once did math class teach the principles of economics and the impacts of government-mandated minimum wages.
I think "do the math" is code for, "Ain't nobody got time to 'splain this to y'all! Now go away!"

I beg to differ, they are not dumb, they are very clever.
They aren't smart because they aren't able to comprehend the
effects of their actions, but they are clever enough to get fed
and prosper in certain conditions.

that position will buy her a lot of votes with the non-thinking vibrant voters. and if actually implemented, those same non-thinking voters will play the race card when small businesses close up shop.
