For either buckshot or birdshot, are there any rules against using lead in Hawaii?

Any restrictions would be of the ethical variety. use the correct shot for your game. if you are asking about a ban on lead, no we dont have that. I believe those are in place for waterfoul because they were found to eat the lead shot and get poisoned. theres no duck hunting in hawaii.
