That ought to be interesting. . . diversion for the masters of diversion. . .

RFK probably lost a lot of independents with that VP pick. What a fool.

Not necessarily. By clearing the way for Trump he could be setting himself up for 2028

I've yet to see any voter stats on how many changed their mind based on the VP running mate. You'd think that would make the news at some point.
Some believe voters only care about president, not vp.
Others believe while a VP running mate won't help the presidential candidate get votes, the wrong running mate can hurt them, Again, no data to support that.
Unless there's a better than 50% chance the President won't survive his term, a VP pick is irrelevant -- unless you're looking down the road for when the VP runs for President. But, that's a different election altogether. it won't dissuade votes for the Presidential candidate now.
The running joke when a weak/poor VP candidate wins is that they were selected not as a good replacement if the president can't serve, but as an insurance policy against assassination of the president.

please show me where anyone said he has a chance...
RFK stands no chance he is a horrible candidate.
-
please show me where anyone said RFK jr was thinking conventionally...
Normally with conventional thinking, people would only run if they stood a chance.

I seem to remember another candidate being talked about the exact same way.
President Donald J. Trump.

I still remember that day when Trump won the election. I was on site working and the General Contractor came stumbling toward me. I asked him "You all right?"
"That f*cker won...." he mumbled and stumbled past me in disbelief, shaking his head. "Trump won" as he continued his way down the hall.
"F*ck yeah!!" I called after him and without looking back he flipped me the bird.

Man that was a great day for meltdowns. Those videos have gotten difficult to find on youtube, btw.
Hmm I wonder why

Why?
I saw her picture, she is quite attractive. I wouldn't underestimate that appeal.
-
Trump also came out swinging at Kennedy, he might be worried about Kennedy too.

More mind reading? you need to teach us this skill you have.
Trump might also want to give Kennedy more attention so the media can't ghost him. The more votes Kennedy gets, the fewer for Biden.
No independent candidate in the last century has gotten enough electoral votes to come close to winning, but they do get enough to deny one party or the other those votes. Popular analysis says Trump would benefit and Biden would suffer if Kennedy's campaign gains traction.
"Polls suggest" I'm right ...

Pondering the biden-trump race.
There is a thing called a doomsday clock.
It's like a representation of the state of the world before a nuclear war, expressed in minutes before midnight.
Eg. 30 minutes is good, 30 seconds is bad.
In 2017 (trump) the time was 2 and 1/2 minutes (150 sec)
In 2023 (biden) the time was 90 sec.
I think that's a good indication of what people think of our government.

Not scientific, but still a good indicator of how effective an administration is regarding foreign relations and national security -- two very important issues I don't think get enough serious discussion.
I recall Obama mocking Romney over his "1980s" national security policy when Romney said Russia was "our number one geopolitical foe."
The press at the time went ape-chit over Obama's zinger as if he'd scored a knock-out. Anyone with a brain saw that for what it was -- an immature response to a very serious question.
https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/obama-romney-the-1980s-are-now-calling-msna15158
We have seen since then that Obama was dead wrong, and that everyone still sees Russia as our greatest threat -- the Russian hackers "interfering" in elections, Russian spy networks uncovered, Russia collusion (until the hoax was publicly and officially uncovered), and now the Ukraine-Russia war, which the US is heavily involved in financially and materially.
Obama won a second term, not for scoring a knock-out, but for dazzling the crowd with fancy footwork.

We might get President Harris soon.
I’m sure Vlad will be shaking in his boots

Better than president Trump. Too bad someone like liz cheney or Mitt Romney wasn't running. Would have preffered them. Now I have to vote for a democrat this year.
Never heard of a dumpster fire fetish before but you do you

I prefer the real GOP not the trash that is MAGA. Reagan would be rolling in his grave if he saw the russia loving anti freedom/democracy MAGA.

I said "might" because I am not a mind reader.
Kennedy has real potential to take voters from both Biden and Turmp, that is why he has a reason to worry. He has been getting money from traditionally GOP donors and appeals evangelicals.
I suppose as long as he steals more Biden voters than Trump voters then Trump doesn't have to worry.

If she does get elected his assistants might want to make sure he's not eating or drinking something lest he chokes with laughter.
