I don't paint with as wide a brush as you do.
Mine is all Democrats should be disarmed.
That will will make the USA the safest country in the world.

I don't think the Democrats are a violent threat as much as an ideological one. 

Taking guns from them won't make them safer.  They need to be prevented from maintaining or increasing the political, economic and societal power they've accumulated.
