Title: Surgery
Post by: mrgaf on April 28, 2024, 09:21:29 PM
Just wanna let you all know that on May 2 I’ll be undergoing triple heart bypass and aortic valve replacement surgery @ Straub. My condition was found during a routine exam by my PCP. Two cardio grams, cardio stress test, CT scan and an angiogram confirmed the ticker needed attention. Never had any of the classic symptoms like angina and no heart attack. Cardiologist said my ticker is strong with no weakening but the aortic valve was 80% closed and two of the three arteries were 80% blocked. The third one was 50%. Hopefully all will go well. Wish me luck!

If you can please find out what the clots look like, specifically if they are long white and stringy. Usually clots look like jelly donuts but lately these have appearing and it's a sign of possible vaccine injury.

Praying for your a swift recovery from your successful medical intervention.

Just a short update
Everything went great. Only setback is I’ll probably need a pacemaker. My doctor is really swell and if the pacemaker is needed then he’ll accommodate my shooting side  by putting it in my right hand side (I’m a lefty).  Otherwise everything is going smoothly and I’m feeling better.

Going in today for a pacemaker…
Getting a leadless ticker that goes up the groin into the ventricle of the heart. Should only be a 30 minute procedure. It’s made by Medtronic and is the latest with a 12-13 year battery. It might be there for a short time till he heart repairs connections. If not, it’s permanent…. :shaka:

I think you're lucky it's only a pacemaker and not a defibrillator like Dick Cheney wears.

It would freak me out totally to be sitting around and suddenly have my heart zapped back into rhythm!
