This is not uncommon. Firefighters are not supposed to go into dangerous situations unless the site has been cleared. The difference in this case is they didn't know there was someone waiting to shoot them.
Totally sick mofo for doing this, but I can't help but ridicule the media for not covering all the stabbings, rapes, murders, shootings, attempted shootings, armed robberies, etc. that happen every day in DC, Chicago, NY, Detriot, LA........they are making this violence look like it's an uncommon occurence..................but then again they gloss over the genocide in Africa so I'm not really surprised.
