I got that notice. I was looking forward to this show because I will have more knives ready to go but I can't make the spring ones. Hopefully they move it back to Nov like was mentioned.
-
It's cancelled, next one is Spring 2025.

Nope
Not worth the hassle of changing venue just for one gun show.

==========
The guy holding up the rifle at :52 in is Steve Gendel. But he passed away.
He was the infamous HK gun dealer that worked out of Century Center by Ala Moana.
His apartment was famous for being overcrowded with boxes of stuff all over the floor.
In later years he usually had the largest sales display at every gun show.
My friend helped him with the logistics of moving and setting up and sales at the gun shows.
I bought stuff from him, but I forget exactly what I bought.

What I also like about these vintage vids are what people look like. The clothing, hair, facial hair style.

Another important function of the gun show is social interaction. One of the worst side effects of the covid shutdown was (and still is) reduced opportunities for social interaction. I would theorize that this might be part of the cause of increasing aberrant behavior. Ie. Crime rate.
One of the first questions I ask when I go to the gun show is, "Did anybody die?"
But not really joking.

Wow admission was only $1.50.

My 2 bdrm apt by Ala Moana was $235 per month. It was 1100 sq.ft.
Gas was about 1.25 per gal.
I think Reagan was potus.
