Aloha All,
Hope someone may have a point out on this one...
Looking to have a new (old) stock fitted and bedded to my old-school custom match M1A, I just prefer the feel of a original USGI stock over my current USGI oversized example. I can't get hold of the gentleman who built the rifle close to 20 years ago so I've got my fingers crossed that there's still someone locally skilled in the art of fitting & bedding.
TIA & Mahalo :shaka:

Is it a Galen Yamada built rifle?
-
Yep... It sure is! Back when I still had time to shoot with the ANG team, oh so long ago ;)

Galen is still around. I see him at every gun show pushing M1A and 1911 parts. The only other company I'd recommend is Accuracy Speaks in Arizona.
Not many M1As on the National Match circuit these days.

Thanks Teichi,
I'll see if I can catch him at the next show, think I also have Mr. Tam's contact info somewhere... Maybe he can put me in touch as well. No kidding regarding the lack of M1A's, Black-rifles got that locked up these days. Though I must admit finding it way more comfortable snapping-in with the M-16/AR15 than with the M14/M1A ;)

Does Wayne at pacific custom rifles do bedding?

Wayne does bedding, but he doesn't really work on M1a/M1 type rifles. Which are whole different animals altogether. ;D

Well Wayne is pretty awesome, did some great work on one of my AR's and even took on a good friends FAL. I'm thinking he can probably take on the M1A as well if I can't get hold of Mr. Yamada (Dai Sensei of the M1A)
