National Constitutional Carry

A real possibility if Republican win the White House and both chambers on November 5, 2024

Gonna need it. When the government goes broke and can't afford to hand out free stuff to the cat eaters it's going to get quite lively.

Its a nice dream but i highly doubt republicans ever win both congressional sides.   I think this is still going to have to run through the courts (it'll get there... Eventually.  Very eventually...)

Problem has always been getting 60 votes in the Senate

Even in a GOP controlled house and senate, there are anti 2a GOP members. This happened with the Hudson bill in 2016/17.

IIRC, 3 or 4 GOP voted with the DNC, killing the Hudson bill.

Yeah, and i feel like the house tends to swing away from the presidential party, especially during midterms.  If Trump wins, im betting the house flips pretty quickly.  I doubt we see all three controlled by any party at any given time in the forseeable future.

There is also this thing called the down ticket effect.

Plus the people are a lot angrier than normal. This might be a real possibility.

Only need 50 plus VPOTUS at worst or 51 at best to get it passed in the Senate.

In the Senate, you need to have 60 votes to get it to the final vote which requires 51.

Commiefornia and Newsome's veto of that stupid Housing Bill for migrants where he said there is only a finite amount of funds come to mind.

The mess in Commiefornia is a prelude of what possibly could be the US in the future.

But in Hawaii no need worry cause we 90% there already.  Plus we get da Aloha Spirit.
