This happened with the Hudson bill in 2016/17.Yeah, and i feel like the house tends to swing away from the presidential party, especially during midterms. If Trump wins, im betting the house flips pretty quickly. I doubt we see all three controlled by any party at any given time in the forseeable future.

There is also this thing called the down ticket effect.
Plus the people are a lot angrier than normal. This might be a real possibility.

Problem has always been getting 60 votes in the SenateOnly need 50 plus VPOTUS at worst or 51 at best to get it passed in the Senate.

In the Senate, you need to have 60 votes to get it to the final vote which requires 51.
