Hello all, first post here and looking for info on places to shoot firearms and air guns on the Kona side of the big island.
I have heard about mile 19 on Saddle road. Any other recommendations would be appreciated. Google has been a no go. Hopefully I missed something.
I am a target shooter mostly with pistols, only have one rifle left.
Air pistol is also a hobby so any ideas there also.

It's Mile Marker 16.
Other place is an unofficial range at Manuka. It's just a clearing in the forest where people go to shoot. I haven't been there but heard recommendations of a 4x4 for the dirt roads.

Please help cleanup trash at both ranges.
A few times a year someone hosts trainers like Mike Glover and Rob Pincus on a ranch somewhere on Kona or Waimea side.

Rob Pincus will be in your area next month. Classes are expenses but are worth it especially since classes like this are hard to find here
