Title: Suggestions? I need to redo all my classes.

Hi sorry,

I stepped away for a bit before all the craziness and changes. And let everything lapse.

I’m wanting apply for my permit again but I don’t know where to begin.

Also looking to get my CCW. I was wondering if someone held a class that could do both.  I’m one of those guys that did a Hunters Ed instead of an NRA class.

I’m open to suggestions. Thank you.

the way I understand it, if you're just looking for a long gun, you can do the Hunters Ed again.  your HE cert just can't be over 4yrs old.

if you're just looking for a pistol Permit-to-Acquire, then you have to do one of those more-expensive HPD-approved training classes.

for CCW, there's specific classes for that.

I'm sure others will chime in.

Hawaii Tactical Division is good as they do things to help the cause in the legislature.

Or you can go with the Hawaii Rifle Association, they too do things for our rights and are non-profit.

Hawaii Tactical Division does both at the same time. Learned a lot from their classes.

Pono Innovations thru Firearms International does combo classes. Could also add Utah/Arizona CCW to save range fees

Butch Helemano also does HPD approved combo classes (HA + HI/AZ/UT CCW).  Inquire through Young Guns.
