Title: Is now a time to stock up on AR lowers or anything else?
Post by: Begle1 on February 08, 2025, 05:24:02 PM
Last year I was inspired by the annual bills to get a 50bmg and a 308 bullpup.

I don't have anything on my must-have list this year I feel compelled to buy, so I wonder if I shouldn't invest in a few stripped lowers just in case?

Wait until the wednesday hearing, it may give us clues which way the awb will go.  Right now I'm guessing 50/50%.

Supreme court might not take the Snope v Brown appeal on Marylands AWB, so it could be several years until you could buy one again if it passes

As of now, there is a grandfather clause.  But this can always be taken away later, which I suspect it will unless the courts are involved.  So up to you if you want to stock up.
