Always hard to say what SCOTUS will take up.  There's a lot of factors such as how many 2A cases did they accept this year, is it based on a final decision, are there any other issues or technicalities, are there contradicting rulings between circuit courts, what do the judges want to see, etc.  In the end, the judges will accept around 70 appeals out of the 2000-3000 requests they receive.

In this case, I don't think they'll take it as it is based on a preliminary injunction and I believe all other circuits have ruled for the ban.  The Snopes (AWB) has a better chance as it was based on a final decision. A 2A win on the AWB should lead to the appeals court overturning the magazine ban.  At least that's how it's supposed to work but we've seen what happened after Bruen.

If SCOTUS took it up, then the opinion would come out in Spring 2026.
