AND when you die from home invasions, assault, robbery, and mass shooters, Law Enforcement Officials, the Mayor, and the Governor will say prayers that go out to the family of the victims.
AND Chris Marvin from Everytown will say gun control is working because if the victim had a gun more people would have died.
So DIE you victims, criminals have rights and are just misunderstood you know.........

Some of the advice is good under certain circumstances but he seems a bit too full of himself.

You've got to be the most judgmental person i've had the displeasure of reading. it's not enough to give praise for the information, but you then have to assassinate the man's character.
Seems you revel in trying to knock down people you never met for nothing more than your dislike of their presentation, attitude, or some other irrelevant attribute.
Must be tough living in today's world when nearly everyone you try to discuss rubs you the wrong way.
-
do you ever make a definitve statement?
Some of the advice is good under certain circumstances but he seems a bit too full of himself.

One of the worst myths that will get you killed is call 911 instead of keeping a gun in the house.
-
do you ever make a definitve statement?
You want me to say his advice is either all good or all bad all the time?
-

Oh the irony. Needed a good chuckle today.

I judge the stupidity and divisiveness of your argumentative posts, not you as a person.
Big, big difference.
Same for politicians and so forth. I judge their statements and actions more than the way in which they express themselves.
"A bit full of himself" sounds more like you than the video maker, but i would never go there outside of the context of discussing your BS.

no
i want you to make a statement without THREE qualifying statements included...

Sorry but that is just how I talk. When I can't be certain of something I ad qualifying statements to account for the possibility I am wrong. I also do so because it would be wrong to say such things are always true. His advice wasn't all bad in my opinion.
Think of it like when a scientist describes something they study, it is very common not for them not to say A causes B rather they qualify it by saying something akin to "There is a high probability that A causes B.

Maybe a better approach would be to stop inserting yourself in so many threads -- in particular the ones in which you have no actual opinion.
If you have to qualify your statements to the degree we see all the time, maybe those comments are not worth posting. I KNOW they aren't worth reading or discussing most of the time.
My mother used to say, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I think Thumper's mom told him the same thing. :geekdanc:
I'd be happy if people would only post things they actually know something about -- not when they feel like interjecting overly qualified comments just to make themselves feel like part of the group.

So?
They were two separate statements BTW. One had 1 qualifier and the other had 2.
I said he seemed too full of himself. I could be wrong, if I met him in person I could very much find he is not full of himself.

Ask yourself why others here aren't trying to defend their comments by parsing how many qualifiers they use.
There's an important reason. Ask if you need help with the answer.

Rather ironic given you have 3x the amount of posts I have and I have been on this forum longer than you (assuming you haven't used more than one handle
And I did give an opinion in this one.

Then don't read or reply. I don't make comments to win a popularity contest.

I did post something I actually know about. I didn't randomly criticize his video.

So you and Macsak can attack my comments by parsing how many qualifiers I use but I cannot defend my comment by explaining my use of qualifiers? Seems hypocritical to me plus it has nothing to do with the accuracy of my statement.
Macsak took issue about how many qualifiers I used so I gave him an explanation to help him understand why I use qualifiers.

Discussion comments are like jokes.
If you have to explain them, you've already failed.

i can imagine the police reports you write:
"the suspect was seen firing the handgun at the victim by 5 eyewitnesses. suspect was caught with the handgun at the scene of the shooting. gunshot residue was found on the suspect's hands, and the handgun was a ballistics match for the bullets retrieved from the victim. it could be more than likely that it appears that the suspect may have shot the victim..."

That may be one of the dumbest things I have seen you type.

Police reports shouldn't make conclusions like that, they just document facts so that's a bad example.
Still not sure why it bothers you if I qualify my comments/observations to account for the possibility I am wrong. Memories are fallible, conclusions based on observations are sometimes wrong. I have seen numerous instances where all accounts point to one conclusion only to later find out that the real thing was actually something else.

Originality is hard -- for you.

I was wondering why this thread is 2 pages and I guess why it would be....I guessed right!

He doesn't drop by often, but when he does, he's like a pigeon playing chess.
He knocks all the pieces off the table and struts around like he won.

Oh the irony of a troll using unoriginality as an insult.
Did you forget your rebuttal at home again? Are you saving your good argument for last?
-

You guessed Flapp would start another pointless argument? You guessed correctly but the odds of that are so high it is almost a guarantee.

Wrong again. It's to the point that I'm wondering if EEF likes to be wrong, just so he can be told he is. Cause at his job, he's used to having the authority. Like a CEO who likes to be a sub by a dom.

Of course it was wrong, it is called sarcasm.
I know you wouldn't bite the hand of your owner.

More tactics, instead of having a civil discussion or admitting your wrong. Thanks for playing and how come you never replied about being a sub? Is there any truth to it? hmmmmm.......
-

When you respond to me in a civil way we can have a civil discussion.

No evidence that you can be civil as you post so many contrary statements in order to incite arguments.

So you get triggered by a contrary statement and that is somehow my fault? Sound like an unhinged liberal justifying burning Teslas.
My comments towards other people always start civil, I never take disagreements to the mud.
-

Hahaha, keep justifying your incivility.

Did you come up with that on your own, or did AI give you a hand?

I don't need AI to come up with arguments to beat you.
And yes, I work very much like Tit For Tat. Look up that computer experiment if you don't understand the meaning of the reference.

Is someone now trying to play the victim card? Boooohooooo, Hahahahhaha

Not playing ... he's a victim of his own BS.

Strawman. I didn't play a victim card.

How is a question a straw man argument?
Do you know how to read and comprehend simple English sentences?

You keep thinking that's why I post what I do. Wrong again. Geez, I should make a business of you being wrong. Like my goal post moving business, but you being wrong too.

Interesting you can't even be satisfied with having the last word, you have to keep going. You can't even let it go once you had the last word, you keep up this mental masturbation. Can't help but wonder if you are just trying to draw me back in to your silly arguments, like a troll or perhaps someone lonely who needs negative attention because at least it is some sort of attention.

Not interesting unless your only interest is in continuing this tirade of back and forth nonsense.
Just stop.

Once again, you're bringing in sexual things more than normal. Are you OK? You are free to not reply, but here you are. I'll wait for your next reply.
And remember how many threads go needlessly long because you refuse to admit facts when confronted with them.

I have no interest in it continuing but when someone hits me I hit back.
It can end here.

That's not a very mature attitude, nor is it very Christian.
If your 4 year old son or daughter hit you, i guess you'd hit them back. Not exactly stellar parenting.

So you, like a bully, want to hit me but suggest I have virtue when I hit you back. How convenient for you.

met·a·phor
/ˈmedəˌfôr/
noun
a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
