Warren Squirms Defending What She
Said About Biden: "Senator, 'On His Feet'
Is Not Praise"
During an appearance this weekend on the "Talk Easy" podcast, Massachusetts
Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren stumbled when asked about the way she
described President Biden's mental acuity and "sharpness" before he dropped
out of the 2024 election.
"I said what I believed to be true," Warren said.
"You think he was as sharp as you?" host Sam Fragoso asked.
"I said I had not seen decline," Warren said, after a lengthy pause. "He was
sharp. He was on his feet. I saw him at a live event. I had meetings with him
a couple of times."
"Senator, 'on his feet' is not praise. 'He can speak in sentences' is not praise,"
the host said.
