Title: Local Gunsmith

I have a Remington 700 and looking to have the barrel replaced. Anyone know of a local gunsmith I can take the barreled action to have it done?

Would anyone know if he can drill about three holes over the stainless steel barrel/receiver of a Ruger Mark II 22LR pistol to accommodate a scope mount base?

He definitely can. I had him quote me the same thing for a shotgun. Wasn't cheap but he does good work from what I hear (I didn't end up getting my shotgun drilled)

You went to get a quote from Wayne but didnt get the work done but can comment on his work? :wtf:

I didn't comment on his work personally, I said I heard he does good work.
