It's better to keep your mouth shut because you don't know the demeanor of the other party. Even honking can set people off. It doesn't matter if you're right or not, you cannot reason with crazy.
Initial IG post stated that the woman yelled at the guy in the Tesla.
He is the same guy who served 1 year of a 5 year sentence in CA for the same thing. He's in HI now. Looks like not as rich cause in CA he had a Tesla Model X ($100K) and now he has a Model Y ($60K).
He busted up the mother pretty good. Gashes and swollen eye.

Hmm…coming at you in a threatening manner with a metal pipe in hand….if I remember correctly from my basic pistol class back in 2003 at 808 with Art Ong (hope he’s Ok nowadays), that’s possibility an example of an
“immediate and unavoidable risk of death or grave bodily injury to yourself or innocents”
A fella could get justifiably shot for doing something like that. Of course HPD will arrest you…just cuz.
Sure would be a favor to the lady motorists out there.
Seriously though, this is why I carry a 50cm all steel ASP Agent collapsible baton - fully legal here due to the federal injunction HIFICO secured for all of us a year or two ago - just for animals like this.

I am frankly surprised people like this aren't run over more often. Some guy comes up smashing my windshield or side window and I am driving away if possible.

Road ragers will usually only pick fights with people that they perceive are weaker than them, like this guy who likes to target women.
Garans he would not have done that if it was two large Polynesian men in the car instead of two women.
If someone approaches your car with ill intent, turn your steering wheel all the way to the right and put your car in reverse, foot on the brake.
As he approaches your door, hit the gas. Your car will knock him down, then drive forward and hopefully run his legs over.

Stay in the car and call 911. While he is raging and bashing your car, give info to 911: license plate number, what is happening, and a description of the rager.
HPD will be there in a matter of minutes...... ::) (maybe). ;D
If he breaks your window, do what RSN172 mentioned above. This is just me personally but screw the legs. I'm going full on run over. Several times. Rinse and repeat.
I'll take my chances with the banana republik. Main thing my loved ones are safe.

Once again showing this guy is a punk who only likes to fight women. How shame.. I would have liked to see him take on some of the Tongans and Soles who used to work for me when I had my tree bisiness.
