Glad to hear the going back to basics talk again.
Back in '82 there were 47 trainees in my basic training class. When we graduated 13 weeks later there were 19 of us.
Went on to Air Assault School. 102 candidates. 47 graduated. Rest quit or was re-cycled.
You meet the Army's standard. Plain and simple. It was never the other way around.
Not tooting my horn. Just saying this is how it should be.
