Don't expect too much. Honolulu is a small town and our gun show is tiny compared to shows on the mainland. Blaisdell center also charges around 8 or 10 bucks for parking. I go there to see which of my old friends are still alive....funny but not really joking.

Went there yesterday thinking there was going to be some decent prices on guns and ammo. Couldn't really spent much since I've been working for free with our government. There wasn't really much difference from the store prices.
The prices at Jhara were like maybe 13% regular cost. Firearms international was 10% but other than that. I left with no new gun, no ammo, and not seeing pretty kit n gun girls. But the hot dog stand girls were cute lol. And I got to meet Mr. Butch Helemano, after the government shutdown is over and I can start spending my money freely again Ima check out his range.

The last time I checked, both were still working.
But I better check again today.
Regardless, I splurged yesterday and bought a bag of cookies and my friend sold me 1m pistol primers so I can shoot for a few months. Also got a hard rifle case that looked homemade. I also got a 70 year old toilet brush to match my 70 yr old hospital bed pan. They are historic artifacts from the hospital that was built inside the tunnels of Diamond Head crater during WW2.

Yeah, if your sons are essential workers. We are all working day to day on IOUs.... Seen that toilet brush. Then I seen the ammo can ukulele and the Smith and Wesson banjo was very tempting.
