Title: The homeless cottage industry explained
Post by: ren on November 02, 2025, 09:21:30 AM
Elon explains why we promote treatment instead of prevention, why we incentivize homelessness. It all comes down to money. Is Hawaii headed down the same path?

The video is spot on.

100% agree we should spend money to help those who are struggling to get back on their feet.

Screw those who are "shuffling down the street with a needle dangling out of their leg" as Musk mentioned.

How do we deal with these zombies?

My opinion:  Bring back the mental institutions that were deemed "cruel" and let nature take it's course.

I mean Kommifornia spent billions addressing the issue and it only got worse.  Where did the money go?  At least spending it maintaining the mental institutions are better than lining the pockets of Newsome and his friends, and the corrupt agencies they run.

A lot of money slated for these issues are sidelined for "education" and other indirect efforts or entirely not related to the issues at hand. Drug prevention? No money in that compared to treating the after effects. That's why I choose not to carry Naloxone. The person taking illicit drugs made a choice. Choices have consequences. The burden of another person's choices is not on me. Recidivism for drug addiction is high. I think by treating the consequence we enable them. Hey here's some free CLEAN needles for your drug addiction. Hey its OK for you to do drugs and if you are on the brink of death we can revive you!

Notice that quite a few politicians have come from media backgrounds.

I say we round up these zombies, stuff them onto airplanes and one-way fly them off to China to go live in their empty cities!

China can do whatever they want with those people, at that point they are no longer our problem.

Should China fly these zombies back to us, we triple down on tariffs and treat it as an act of war from them should they persist after the tariffs fail to deter them.
