Title: Quietly adding in things......in hopes no one notices?
Post by: QUIETShooter on November 20, 2025, 10:17:55 AM
This provision was added without fanfare but was caught and voted down unanimously by the House.

Senators felt their rights were violated.  Whether true or not, why ONLY SENATORS?

If they really felt this is an infringement of rights to American people, again WHY ONLY SENATORS?

  Money grab.  Shameful.  The fact it was unanimously voted down makes it doubly shameful.  The fact it was added in last minute and "quietly" is despicable.

This is not new stuff.  It happened many times before.  Pieces of legislation added last minute in hopes it will be overlooked but nonetheless passed.

But only Senators?  C'mon.

Not limited to Senators, but Republican Senators, specifically those who were outspoken about election irregularities.  The list:
Quote
That document was dated Sept. 27, 2023, and lists the following
Republican lawmakers as people whose records were apparently
scrutinized:
Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina,
Sen. Bill Hagerty of Tennessee,
Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri,
Sen. Dan Sullivan of Alaska,
Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama,
Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin,
Sen. Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming,
Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and
Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania.

Was the FBI targeting political enemies of the Biden administration?  Absolutely!

Were the people having their records analyzed suspected of a crime?  No!

There's no justification for choosing only GOP Senators without some probable cause they committed crimes.

I believe this is what we call "Weaponizing the Justice System," an offshoot of "Weaponizing Government", to attack your political opponents.

Giving the targeted Senators compensation is okay, but where is the accountability?  Will we see any FBI agents fired over this?
