I'm pretty naive when it comes to politics but am trying to get a better understanding of the circus in Washington DC.

Can someone explain what the value of this resolution that these congress critters voted on?

In my opinion it's just BS noise that doesn't do anything.  (except waste taxpayer money.  There are other pressing things they could have worked on.  Jan.30th is right around the corner dumbasses..... ::) ::) ::))

Other than documenting how each member feels about the subject.

A resolution passed by Congress can express the sentiments or decisions
of Congress on various issues, but it does not have the force of law unless
it is a joint resolution that is signed by the President. Resolutions can be
used to set rules for congressional procedures or to make statements on
policy matters.

There are Joint Resolutions, Concurrent Resolutions and Simple Resolutions.

This was a Concurrent Resolution.
Quote
Matters affecting the operations of both the House of Representatives and
Senate are usually initiated by means of concurrent resolutions. A concurrent
resolution originating in the House of Representatives is designated
“H.Con.Res.” followed by its individual number. On approval by both the
House of Representatives and Senate, they are signed by the Clerk of the
House and the Secretary of the Senate. They are not presented to the
President for action.

Here is the text of the resolution.  You can decide for yourself if it was worth the time to pass it:

I dunno.

The most favoritest thingy for Dems is vehemently proclaiming their patriotism whilst they f*+=k the living daylights out of our country and its institutions in order to plow the field for Communism - all the while believing we are all so stupid that we don’t actually know what they’re going to do before they do it.

From time to time it’s kinda nice to shove their snouts into their own shit-pile and watch it come up adorned the way it really is.

Jill Tokuda comes from the extreme left of the party that takes from those who have (and worked hard for) to gives to those who don't have (and probably sat on their fat asses whining.....)

Then when those who have get fed up and leave, Jill will take from those she just gave stuff to.  She'll come to your house and demand "How much rice you have?"

And you say "I have a 15 lb. bag you gave me a couple of days ago."

She'll say "Well, you have a 5 lb bag now......"

On and on and on.  The socialist way.

Yes, exactly like all Communists, right up until you have no choice but to shoot them.

If one loves Hawaii we need to join up and shove it back down their throats until their legs stop moving.

What a waste of time and taxpayer money. Can't fix the tax code but can hold a meaningless vote on whether socialism is bad or not?
