Alot of friends dont understand my parts selection and I got the " a good old phosphate BCG is just as good", but I I wanted this to be a no expense spared dream build. I figure anything that doesnt work out can be replaced, so why not try new things.

So question to the brotherhood; what optic ?? Debating between Aimpoint T-1 and Eotech EXPS 3-0/2-0, or ........ ??
Any advice/ experience is appreciated !

I personally like Aimpoints more than EOTechs (mostly about battery life), but it's personal preference.

Looks great. Battery life is the main point in those optics.

Both optics are great.

I like Eotech's better on the AR platform because, I'm faster on target with it and it sits at the perfect height without having to buy any adapters. The lens is much bigger too.

I do run Aimpoints on all my AK's though.

It's all about cowitnessing to me.

looks nice.

i've always thought the idea of building an AR sounded fun.  but i already have a rifle in that caliber, so im in no rush.

Looks good so far! You can't go wrong with either of the optic choices. You're going to spend a little more outfitting the Aimpoint with a proper riser mount. Have you decided on a muzzle device?

I think I'll go with a Battlecomp 1.0 once I replenish my funds a little.

My thoughts too. I prefer absolute co-witness and a larger field of view.

I've used Aimpoints while deployed and was always a little slower with them to acquire a target. I still really like the T-1 though.

Probably go with the Eotech now and get a Aimpoint T-1 later.

That's going to be a beautiful rifle! How much have you invested into this build?

Damn, didnt want to itemize, but I had to.....

Total cost came in at $2300 as shown.

I got a lot of parts at discounted prices (average 10% for mil) and didnt pay stupid panic prices so it should /could have been a lot more.

My budget was $2000, so I didn't do too bad and I'm happy as hell with the outcome. Next major move is Cerakoting in FDE, but that's a ways off.

BTW, posted pics in the Gun Pic thread.

Looks good! Can I try it if you bring it to the next HDF range day? I was looking at and wanted to get a feel of those the Geissele SD triggers.
