Imagine if this was a family member. Or a friend.

I just mentioned to my daughter last night how the sirens in Mililani have been extremely active the last 2 weeks. One report was of a car that flipped somewhere behind Walmart.
I don't know if it's the holidays causing distracted or careless driving when bouncing around buying gifts and going to parties, or if it's the holiday drunks ruining it for the people around them.
I was taught decades ago not to cross in front of a car unless you make eye contact with the driver. Seems to have worked quite well so far!

I've found myself telling my daughters to drive safely more often nowadays. It's always around the holidays where I find myself more apprehensive about driving.
Agree that this time of the year there are so many distractions occupying the minds of drivers while they are on the road.
I'm sure the anguish and despair are felt both ways when there are victims of accidents. Both from the family of the victim(s) and the person who caused it.
It's a lose-lose situation.
And then there are those who have no empathy for their fellow man. The ainokea crowd is growing.
