My favorite Duvall movie ever;
I am Santini, the Great Santini.
I come from behind the moon, out of the dark, unannounced.
Watch out!
I was fortunate to have read the very long book in HS, The Great Santini. Then when the movie came out, I was in awe as to the performances of such a great cast.

The whole cast was amazing, even if they weren't such big names as the stars.
As good as the movie is, the book was much better since the movie didn't have the time to include all the dialog, scenes and situations from the book.
We'll miss you, Boo. RIP.
