Thanks so much for posting this!
This is exactly what was discussed in the previous thread: The commie psyop technique of, for want of a better term, “drawing the box.”
They pick a big issue like “care for marine life / environment” as the “box”, cite some extreme practice or situation that calls for intervention, like “jug line fishing,” then using that, proceed to specific provisions that in effect outlaw entire sectors of liberty, like ALL fishing.
They know that virtually everyone will associate everything in the box as something deserving to be outlawed … for the turtles, the seals, the keiki and the kupuna, etc.
These totalitarians are on the march here baby!
They are pure evil: The intentional use of a social engineering technique like this is clear proof of it.
Fight, fight, fight!

I used to love to fish. I was a fan of ultra-light tackle fishing, walking the shores and enjoying the beach, the water, the sun getting ready to shine on another day, or retiring into the night.
Now I scaid. I usually did this by myself, love the peace, quiet, and alone time. But too much homeless and nut jobs out there at the beaches. Everywhere, actually. Plus no can carry to protect yourself at the beach. Plus I old. Magnet for these fackahs.
I can see how this issue can spill over into all kinds of fishing. Because honestly, sometimes your line gets stuck on the reef no matter how responsible you want to be, and the line will be out there to entangle something.
Plus I guarantee if I were to be minding my own business out there, there would be a karen somewhere hell bent on ruining my day. Fuck yoo karens out there in advance by the way, if you happen to be reading this.
So yeah. I can see it spilling eventually to everything. My bet is they go after the boat fishermen next.
Just like gun laws. Sneak sh*t in when no one's looking.
The braddah is right. Fishing is a whole lot better than e-bikes, stealing at mom and pop stores, and doing.........
Drrruuuuuugggggssssss.......

I hear you and I feel the same way. Many of us have had bad experiences with loony tunes people while fishing.
We just want to be left alone to enjoy our selves but the pupule people have other plans.
It seems that the bill is sponsored by C. Lee, K. Rhoads, S. Chang. Talk about an unholy trinity.
I have heard that there are provisions to exempt pole fishing floats but this could easily be removed during a
back room late night shenanigan session. Removing public input seems to be a current trend with some of
the law makers. Keep an eye on SB2973

I always catch only targeted species every time I throw bait in the water said no fisherman ever.
