Whats it like at koko head range as far as getting a table to shoot rifle these days. I know you have to be early maybe by 9:30 10:00 am. before the all this B.S. so how bad is it now , pistol range also.????

I recommend getting there around 830 or before to make sure that you get a table otherwise you be on the waiting list.. rifle side

Here's a link to my experience this past Sunday. Don't know how it is on the weekdays now. I usually go on Saturdays and have found it to be a little less busy. 0930-1000 is not early and you will be on the waiting list. I think 0830 is still not early enough from my previous experiences, but hey maybe you can get lucky. I always bring a mat to shoot prone if I can't get a bench for whatever reason. When I do go, I usually get there around 0530 -0600 to insure that I get a bench. Can't comment on the pistol side.

In my experience, the bullseye pistol range isn't as busy nor do I feel that I have to get there as early as the rifle range.

I know there is a reason that so many benches on the rifle side are off limits during the week ???
-
I asked about the benches being blocked off during the week and the RO said not enough staffing...

Weekdays, no idea anymore.
Weekends
Rifle - If you wanna shoot in the morning, get there by 5:00. There's usually no wait or a short waiting list in the afternoon.
Pistol - I've never had to wait for a stall no matter what time of day.
Skeet - Most I've seen is 6 groups on rotation. On the slow end, 3 groups rotating and only one side operating.
Trap - Never noticed a line there.
Silhouette - Never shot here.

The pistol side gets busy if there is a chinese gun club competition there since they take up half the range in the morning.
