Its very telling when after the kidnapper drops and releases the woman, she feels the need to slap him anyway. That tells me the slap at the end was a bruised ego slap as she was literally bearhugged and dragged off against her will and there was very little she could do on her own to stop it.
This is the problem with today's flavor of feminism, with all the unrealistic girl bosses in movies that are shown to be able to take down men who hopelessly outweigh and outsize them otherwise.
