I remember saying how Barack Husein Obama was the enemy in a post awhile ago......

Barry wanted to make the entire country a "GUN FREE ZONE" on his first term and people voted for him a second term......
I don't think there was any other president that said so much stupid things in such a "CHARISMATIC" way.......

Now he's got all these losers, wackos and WEAK minded people shooting the innocent to distract stupid people from the truth....

I'll gladly answer . I'm a union pipe fitter . In the past 4 years that he has been in office . He's helped a lot of unions out . Neither me or the other 40 or more workers in the company stayed home or got let go .in those years the only time I stayed home is because I choose to . We infact hired a few more guys . I'm really not trying to start anything here , but with every good there's a bad . Work is my lively hood its how I put food on the table . Now with more work I got a little more "spending" money which I use to buy rifles . trust me its not :shaka: like I got one or two rock river ar's . I'm alittle worried , so in a case for me its kind of strange where if it wasent for him I wouldnt have the funding to buy . I know we are all different , and this is just a forum ,but there is no need for talk like that . Thanks :shaka:

I never gave up on liberty . I did a foremen meeting a few months back . We had to pick an employee under us . Pretend that they died under our watch . Now with that in mind write a letter to their family stating what you did wrong , what you could of done to prevent something like this from happening . Now I want you to try and do that for your best friend . Do that for 26 families who lost kids . How would your letter go ? I delivered that letter to my apprentice . Who gave it to his mom . Trust me thank god it was only a class course. I don't know if any of this make any sense . Something to think about .

Well 338K if you can get your union brothers to band together and voice 2A rights I think you guys have a more powerful platform in this blue, union controlled state. I'm sure if the union bosses had a meeting with Abercrombie, much of these bills wouldnt surface.

If you noticed or maybe I read it wrong , but doesn't it seem like they want to fallow Hawaii guide lines when it comes to purchasing firearms ? I mean that's the big picture with a lot of fine details in between . Weather democratic, republicans it does not matter what team you play for . Its our 2a

No. It matters a great deal what team you play for; Democrats want your guns, Republicans don't. I agree that it shouldn't be a party issue, but it is, whether we admit it or not. You can vote for Democrats because you're in a union and Democrats pay huge kickbacks to their union supporters if that's what you want, but a vote for a Democrat is a vote against the Second Amendment.

Mitt made practice of lying, too. They all do. There are probably a handful of completely honest politicians. If this country wanted honest in the White House the only option was Ron Paul.
And even if he was elected President he'd be no more effective in stemming the tide of special interests that has inundated D.C. than he has been as a Senator.
The threats to the second amendment did not begin and do not end with Obama. Not by a long shot. Just as Obama signed the NDAA against his personal wishes, if the time is "right" for further erosion of our civil rights those who butter that D.C. bread would make it happen even with Mitt in the White House.
Make no mistake: your enemy is much larger than Obama and it is NOT the people who voted for him.

They provide benefits for their members but destroy the economy in the process, just look at the auto industry and the outrageous salaries of government employees (average salary of $120k according to some reports). Market forces work and unions go against that in an almost communist fashion. If you don't have a job you go out and find another one. If you can't find one in your industry of choice then there are too many of you and you need to do something else or start your own business. This is how the economy grows, unions stunt that growth.

Unfortunately, and thanks largely to the Democratic Party, unions are able to hold their employers hostage under threat of government reprisals. The way modern unions do business is anti-capitalism and un-American.

Thank you for proving my point. Good for you, bad for the economy. No stunt in your personal growth but the economy is in a shithole right now, if you don't think that's a stunt in growth then I don't know what is. By saying you skipped college and went straight to a union I assume you didn't go to a trade school either. People opting not to have a higher education benefits society how? A less educated population is more prone to being sheeple that follow right along with the government's plans. If unions are so great then why are they dying out? Because they're bad for business, the economy, and society as a whole. Unions will eventually be gone entirely but the fight to keep them alive will damage our economy/society to the bitter end.

And the new normal business practice of offshoring profits to tax haven countries and paying down to zero taxes in the US - another method of reporting more income to your stock holders - has nothing to do why the government is looking at enormous budget shortfalls?
Its just a bunch of greedy union guys wanting to get paid enough to live the same standard of living as their parents in the face of inflation that is tanking the economy?

I don't know where this "fear" argument is coming from. I have no doubt that you know your craft, but sounds like you are unable to comprehend the problem with unions and are just saying random things praying that the conversation will move on without anyone noticing (you related to Carolyn McCarthy?). Although it's not your fault because you probably have no experience in anything related to finances, and I'm not talking about balancing your checkbook (which a surprising number of people can't do). Quick example, if unions didn't bully employers maybe employers would have more capital to grow their business, make more money, and pay you even more than you make now. Now that's purely hypothetical and one really knows for sure, but what is certain is that unions manipulate the market and are detrimental to businesses, just look at Ford's pension disaster and how it required a government bail-out and pension buyouts to save.
clshade is right, the current economic situation isn't due to any single factor. I'm saying unions contribute to the problem and voting for Obama on the basis that unions are good because you get paid is misguided.

Okay DF I got the problem were are having. I'm speaking on behalf of Hawaii's unions (more so my union) .we are the second highest paid union in the state . The highest paid plumbers union in America . Trust me I do see your point , but see mines also . Anyways my wife does the finances for the house . She got her degree in accounting.

Just because we are union don't make us anti 2a/ Americans . I know of a few union managers who hunt or own rifles . My point was we are union/ democrats who are pro 2a . Not cock suckers/ un-american . If you want to get political we can gladly meet at a Starbucks and talk . Dang diet drinks on me . To say I do talk to a couple of managers time to time . 2a is one of our big topics for we do belive in it .

+1. I have my comments on unions. I keep my opinions to my self here. (I will make a very serious effort)
This is a 2A forum. We all need to be unified if we wish to keep our freedom.
Keep the issues strictly to 2A, and concentrate on how we can fight the powers which wish to strip our freedom.
It is very hard to seperate the issues. All the issues, as a whole, are very complex. However, segregating the 2A topic from the rest makes this simple. KEEP THE EYE ON THE PRIZE FOLKS.
