It was an hour long left wing propaganda anti-gun diatribe.  Solely intended to make any pro-gun advocate sound like a nut and filled without outright fabrication.

Last donation to PBS has been made by my family... forever.

It was quite sad and filled with hearsay and misleading info...  I guess all I can take from programs like that is a slight understanding of where some people that are not totally in-tune with the gun control debate get their information and negative outlook of firearms and firearm ownership.  :(

Saw it.  It sounded oh-so-"reasonable" in its presentation. Started out with a not-so-bad review of the events leading up to the Revolution, but missing a bunch of facts and information throughout the program. Nothing really outrageous about it (like in Michael Moore's "documentaries"), but subtle and insidious in its bias.

Constantly linked crime with guns, showed stills of the bloody mess at the Valentine's Day Massacre, constantly cited numbers of gun crimes but did not mention any righteous defensive use of firearms that I could see.

A couple of lightweight quotes by NRA President Keane and some others.

Watery soundbites from some other Pro-2A-ers as well.  Watery.  They did show the clip of  NRA President Heston holding a flintlock overhead and shouting "From my cold dead hands."  This was not a favorable moment for RKBA, as far as I'm concerned.  (I recall that the gun was a presentation piece given to the NRA museum.)

Anyone watching it with a neutral viewpoint and no other information would conclude gun control was a good thing.   No mention of the fundamental reason for the Second Amendment.

I say again, no mention of the fundamental reason for the Second Amendment.

After all, you wouldn't want to scare all the voting recipients of welfare, now, would you?
