Title: Selling or trading firearm question.

Here the question ...
If I have a long gun that I just brought back from out of state or just bought locally, I know I have either the
3/5 days or whatever it is to register said long gun and I have a buyer or to trade with... Do I have to register in my name first before I  sell/ trade?
If its still within the 3/5day grace period.

72 hours from arrival from mainland

3 days pistol local purchase
5 days rifle local purchase

Yes must be in your name because you have possession of the fireams
Before selling it to someone else.
