Got there at about 9:30 and was dismayed at the line waiting for me when I got there. My guess was that there were 3 to 4 hundred in line....and that was just to buy tickets for the show! Things turned out rather surprising however and I found myself oogling over the goods inside by 10:10.
I picked up several hundred rounds of .38 special, a couple of bore brushes and resisted the urge to pick up one of three Swiss K31s that I saw selling for $400 - $500. Also joined HDF. I liked this show better than the last.
-
500 rounds of 223 ammo, security eq. For 250
-
Got a 22/45 for $275 and some ammo to go with it.
-
Went looking for a M1 Garand, Mosen Nagant, or an AK. Found nothing priced within reason. Did buy a bunch of .308 brass to reload and found a buyer for my 6.8SPC AR-15 though.
-
Picked up a nice pair of used 7x50 binoculars for a good price (secret).
New one point bungee sling for $25.
Resisted the urge to get the Swiss K31 in the front also. :)
-
Picked some 12ga. Buck for $3 a box and some 30-06 for $80.00 for 100 rds. to feed my 1903.
-
Got me a nice chrome 357 for only $350. Guy had two of them but one had a compensator, i ended up getting the other one with a lighter trigger
-
Got lots of .22 ammo for a good price, 1911 mags and other odds and ends.
I missed out on a Bushnell TRS25 by like 10 seconds! Ugh, oh well.
I actually thought this show was pretty decent all things considered!
-
Decot Hywyds for $20
-
Rem 870 for cheaper than advertised.
-
nothing except a target frame and a USGI mag that looked barely used for 10 bucks.
i just went to browse for a bit, though i found a really nice looking TZ-75 that i would have loved to make mine.
and the K31ʻs they have always tempt me.
-
AAAHHHH MAN!!!! Had to work today...... :(
Going super early tomorrow so I can be the first 50 in
-
Bought a Sig 1911-22 (22LR) new! $40 less than I saw at a competitor's shop yesterday. Let the permitting process begin! :'(
Also got 3 new, never issued 50 Cal ammo cans. I'm an optimist!

Ahh damn buy the time I got there around 1030 I couldn't find any 308 brass who did you buy yours from?
-
Picked up a couple of black powder revolvers. Bought the first one, which is a Robert E Lee commemorative revolver and realized that more likely than not, I'd never be able to bring myself to shoot it (it's just too beautiful). So I picked up a good black powder shooter. Nice to actually be able to buy the hand gun and just walk out the door with it (and no registration!)

No cheap mosins nor mausers. saw only one garand for a reasonably price of $900. I attempted to buy 3 dif .22lr older military trainers 2 Mossberg 46 and a Winchester. Both I looked at it once took a walk to make sure its what I wanted. Went back to buy it and the guy at the table before me happend to be buying it
-

I cleared out one seller and bought from 2 other sellers too for a total of about 500 brass. It was going fast from what I saw. Made a trip to WGS for components and they are near cleared out of primers and .308 bullets, its not a easy time for reloaders.

I totally did not put two and two together till I read this ;). I guess that's what I get for not silencing my phone hoping for some good bail to come through the night before the gun show lol.

Got a few 7.62X39, .22LR and 00 buck, a CRES surgical pan, couple of Hawaiian flag patches and some ground walnut for tumbling.
No luck in finding a used 60mm spotting scope or Forster trimmer or any SP primers (part of my wish list).
Other than the line to get in, was one of the better shows. Didn't see any protesters.
-
Went there to browse with a buddy and found a Kel-Tec Sub 2K and couldn't resist.
-
40 or 9mm?
-
Picked up a case of 223, and 2 unissued ammo cans. Got my friend to sign up for HRA, and bought a couple of shirts, from them too. Debating on going back tomorrow, and picking up some more stuff. There was a nice stainless steel 9mm Para Ordinance for 500, which I had to stop myself from buying. Saw a couple AR's, that were actually priced below panic prices, which was surprising. A couple of things made me laugh though. One, was the booth that was trying to sell Pmags, for 60 bucks a piece. The other, was another booth, charging 95 dollars, for 100 rounds of Winchester white box, 9mm range ammo.
-
i'll sell some for $90
maybe i should set up next to his table

How much did the case of 223 run?
I had a wedding today, so I couldn't stop by. But SEC tweeted about havering cases of 223 available and got me interested.

9mm

Got a HDF t shirt and let the daughter get a bunch of paracord to make bracelets.... that's all :-[
SEC's deal for 1000 rounds of .223 for $449 was awesome, but the line was literally 50 deep and would have ran out before I got to the front.
I did score the OGC deal on .40 earlier this week, so it's all good. :geekdanc:
-
instead of what I bought here are some things I didn't buy
$60 pmags
$450 trashed round receiver mosin
$30 boxes of .45acp
$2500 garand
$700 sks
if anyone bought these things today for these prices all I got to say is "suckers"

You can add $50 for a brick of bulk pack Federal .22LR to that list
-
Nevermind $60 pmags, find the $25 pmags. Just saying.
-
Asked a guy how much for the p90 mag at his table, he said 100. He had the gall to give me a weird look when I replied "dollars?".
-
Paid for parking, bought the tickets, and lunch, but this was the first gun show in 25 years that I didn't buy something. There just wasn't anything of interest, so I spent 3-1/2 hours walking around and chatting with Ed, Mel, Sgt. Fleck and the usual gun show bunch.
...I did get my brother-in-law and anti-gun sister to join HRA.

LOL! I said the same thing around 10am...he's probably tired of people reacting that way.
-
I got a couple of paring knives and a decent sharpener for a good price, but wasn't much else I was interested in. Didn't see the Ballistol booth.
-
After went over to Sears to stock up on work shoes for 30% off going out of biz liquidation sale.

PMAG's going for $25 for gen 2 and $30 for gen 3...they have a big box of them. Table is located on the back left side from when you walk in. Up a couple booths from the sec hawaii booth on the wall side. They just show a few on the table. Gotta ask them about it.

Anyone at the show now, that can confirm if Security Equipment still has cases of 223?

Yeah ditto for show recon here, would like to know if that $900 Springfield armory M1 Garand is still avail.

.
-
^CMP sold out of service grade SA earlier this month, their rifle stocks are becoming seriously depleted. Pretty much just HRA Garands left in the cheaper grades.
Kinda scary, considering CMP has been distributing Garands for decades.

Believe it was sold yesterday. I went look at it in the morning and it was gone by noon. I only saw the one for 825 still there.
-

Went back for day #2! Stumbled on a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, with an extra 10rnd mag, nice scope, 100 rnds CCI mini-mag ammo, all the accessories, and never fired! Great price, too! Now I have TWO reasons to scour the island for 22LR ammo!! :D
-
Wow moosed! Great find!
-
Anyone saw the undead targets at the zombie shooting gallery? Missed it.
Scored some 22LR and 9mm sivler tips.

Good catch there. How much did you pay ... so I can kick myself again.

I never saw that damn.

I looked up the scope, and it runs about $150 new as the seller said. The ammo was marked $10 from Y. Guns. The extra magazine seems to run about $40 on eBay new.
Add that up, and I paid $375 for the rifle with the like-new back pack, magazine, papers, and the hellacious Ruger gun safety lock!
No tax, no shipping, no FFL fees .... just cash and carry (and register ... tomorrow).
I hope that makes you as jealous as I am happy! :geekdanc:
The seller said he didn't have it on the table Saturday. I found it about 10:20 and bought it immediately!! As I was inspecting and paying, I think a dozen people at least stopped to gawk at it, too!
Today was worth $6! ;D
-
was he across the street in the video?
was he afraid that someone would go nuts and use an easily modifiable assault weapon firing hundreds of rounds per second?
i would've shot him just for the yellow shirt and stupid yellow hat

Guns kill people, right? Well, I saw a ton of guns just waiting to turn on the crowd! I'm waiting for the news report about all the people murdered by all those scary assault rifles at the gun show!
-

I'm thinking the time might have been closer to 10:22 ...

There was a guy selling 2 x Savage Arms 22LR bolt rifles for $250 apiece this morning at the show. I saw the one on display just before I found the Ruger 10/22, or I would have probably gone back for one of those. The seller said he had another under the table.
I know, I'm a little late with this info, but so was your post!

he doesnt even try to mask the contempt in his voice.

Brushes, mops, 45 brass, dies for 38/357 and 44mag., scope for my 22, some frog lube to try, and only one knife. Which is damn good since I helped my friend at his knife table.

Damm I want the ruger takedown, have the bull barrel 10/22. They r fun guns! Can modify the crap out of them if u want. Mines has all KIDD parts and rimfire technologies charging handle. The only thing about the 10/22 is that u keep spending money on the parts then that 350 guns turns into 1000 gun lol ;D

There was a marlin single shot bolt action .22lr that I was looking at. Price was $125. Anyone here pick that up?

was it at the table across from HRA and LIFE?
-
The marlin was in the same row as nra (Dawn Horn). A few tables towards the back on the left side. Two Japanese guys were at the table.
-
late again but did you get name and number of seller? hahahaha
That was my friend selling the savages, pm me if you want his number he's still got em.
-
The first morning I bought 22 ammo and a dozen bandoliers of carbine ammo, some assorted rifle ammo. By the time the show opened up the 22 ammo was $50 a brick and pistol ammo was priced near a dollar a round.
I ended up buying a .308 rifle, a 38 target revolver and an old Colt .380 pocket auto. I'll post pics when I get them transferred.
-
got some camo pants but dangit too small and didn't get the lady's business card. how to find out? she had the table by the USMC display near the entrance.
Was it the older lady and they had some cleaning brushes/ tools on another table? If it is they have a store in Sand Island in the Military HQ store... Bought from them a couple shows ago and visited their shop for more in Sand Island. Hope this helps! :shaka:

Ok so it's the same people then! Yes sir that helps a lot, Mahalo!
Same here I haven't been to their shop since down Sand Island days so nice excuse to go see the new place. They used to be The Source for ammo cans before the other shops. Have met some rather interesting people there too but that is totally a different story! haha
Ranch99? Yes! Even closer to me now, yay :D That site woulda' been a good one for an indoor range eh?
-
Greenstomper was in that booth
Yep, they were selling like reasonably priced p-mags.
-
I bought a couple of ammo cans, some Nosler 55gr bullets (not a good deal) and a green box of Remington .22LR Standard Velocity from the 60's. Passed up on a Ruger MkIII for $275.00 and less than 5 minutes later I went back and it was sold.
My buddy scored 250 Nosler 55gr bullets for $25. WGS had plenty primers at an outrageous price that my buddy paid. He also found small quantities of once fired .223 brass.
Otherwise I thought there were not a lot of great deals and prices were high generally speaking.
-

Was it a standard MKIII Ruger or a 22/45?
