Title: OK to register a pistol gripped shotgun ?
Post by: aieahound on March 20, 2013, 10:17:35 AM

Is it OK to register a shotgun with just a pistol grip, no buttstock, so long as the overall length is more than 26" ?

Everyone's answers are correct, but just to clarify in case someone else reading may have the same question, but a different brand of shotgun, there is no HRS which mandates the overall length of a shotgun. The barrel just has to be at least 18.5".
This falls under federal law.  ;)
