i was told by a certain korean/american shop employee
"if you sell for lots of money, what are gonna buy to replace that ammo?"
i guess i am hoping that the ammo shortage and increase in hours at the range is gonna cut down the crowds despite the increase in gun ownership

What's "extra ammo?"

.

It was a thought. Friends keep asking but until I can replace it as quickly as I can sell it or shoot it at a reasonable price, the answer is a big fat no.
-
Better off trading for everything because the dollar has lost some value in the firearm world....

oops
i guess i should have said, "if i were to have extra ammo, would i sell"
because i don't have extra ammo
i have no ammo, just like everyone else
never mind

I've thought about it. I haven't been shooting nearly as much as I used to, mostly due to the current prices. No telling when prices will improve to the level that I'd like, so better to hold on to what I got so I can at least shoot when I really want to and not have to worry too much about ammo prices.
-
I would definitely sell if I had a huge surplus of fireams and ammo
as it is a good time to sell not a good time to buy
-
I have bandoleers of 3006 that I dont shoot cuz its too expensive

Exactly!!

Haven't sold anything although I have enough to keep me going. No money can (legally) replace something that can't be bought.
-
I'd rather keep than sell, or I'd trade it for something else that's hard to get right now

I don't have any ammo . . . ::)
-
Never been in that situation my self!! ;)
-
"Extra ammo": that amount of ammunition for which one does not own, nor have access to, a compatible firearm! 8)
-
from someone's quote I saw the other day "the only time you can have too much ammo is if you are on fire or swimming."

Michael Savage Talks to Expert about DHS buying Massive Amount of Ammunition2 14 13 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxLMviYH95o#)
Any truth to this interview? Hope it's not another fear mongering and conspiracy theory.
