Title: Kel Tec KSG
Post by: kekoa on March 27, 2013, 10:29:38 AM
Aloha,

What is the word on the Kel-Tec KSG. Looks like a pretty good way to protect the home front CQB style if needed but not much more i.e. skeet, birds and such. Can these be brought into Hawaii?

Posted it here because my main focus is the legality of getting one of these to Hawaii.

Mahalooooos :shaka:

Mahalooos aieahound and new guy. I am truly a 'new guy' to the whole forum thing now that you guys pointed out the now obvious for me I think I can try to move on with acquiring that KSB.

What are the rules about buying on the forum? Paper work and such or is it just  a transaction as any thing for sale and just report it to my local PD.

Alright fellas thanks again.

Rules for every purchase made through this forum:

* Every pistol, shotgun or rifle purchased through this forum must be given to Kingkeoni for immediate inspection and test firing.

* Every firearm offered for sale on this forum must first be offered to Kingkeoni via PM.

* All sales that are deemed non compliant with the above policies will be considered "effed up" and subject to immediate stinkeye and  :wtf: posts by Kingkeoni

Sounds about right but you forgot the mandatory 20% discount requirement for all firearms offered to you first in bullet #2. ;D

Kekoa, seller will probably require a valid long gun permit.
For sale threads are require to list a price.
No make trouble on their thread.

Pretty much its a private transaction between you and the seller.  You guys make the arrangements  as long as both are legally able to own firearms.

good info guys.  KK, you krack me up

If interested normally I would send the seller a PM. ( you can do this by clicking on their name and clicking send PM under their name on the page that loads )

You can also post "PM sent" in the thread if you want.  This also alerts the seller.

It's a Private transaction as stated above. If it's a newer member, like yourself, they may want to meet you at HPD to do the transaction and complete registration transfer.  Some sellers will only do it this way to ensure registration transfer.

Myself, if it's a long standing member with meaningful contributions, I normally just complete the agreement of sale with their current permit number and let them go register it within the 5 days. Of long standing members, no ones burned me yet by not registering. Could be risky though if someone didn't register it.

Don't think that was a KSG, I believe it was a SUB2000.
