Would there be any problem with CCW with a BLUE practice pistol?
For he purpose of practicing CC before going or visiting a state tha has CCW.
Any possible legal problems?

I can't find anything either way, it might be worth a call to HPD or a lawyer just to be safe!

If I had to guess I would say it'll be ok as long as you don't commit a crime with the "gun" or unholster it in public

I don't think their is anything illegal about it, because it is not a firearm, however, if you somehow end up in a situation with law enforcement, I'm sure they will treat it as an armed individual and proceed forward in that manner until they can verify and assess the situation. If I was the officer responding to a "looks like an individual carrying a firearm" I would treat the situation as if it was one. I guess this can be a "how concealed do I carry" test. For if its truly concealed you shouldn't encounters any problems

Why do so many people look police shootings as "cops being overzealous"? Cops don't shoot people for no reason. They are bound by the same laws as normal citizens. They only gonna shoot if their or someone else's life is in immediate danger. They are faced with a split second to decide if the threat is immediate, and whether or not to shoot. You put yourself in that position, and stress situation, and see if you would respond any differently. How many of you have the training that they have? And don't say, "I'm a better shot because I go to Kokohead everyweekend, and shoot at static targets".
Cop killed an 8 year old last week who didnt understand to drop the pellet gun and another guy in his own backyard was killed by a cop because he was testing his own shot gun on his own property..Just sayin'.

^^^^ dumbest thing I've read in awhile. Its not what your intention is, it's the publics perception that will get you in trouble or shot. You should just continue wearing your holster in your house and looking in mirror. That way you won't put yourself or the public in danger. Leave the super hero stuff to the guys with the badge and training.

I think the best and safest thing would be to get CC passed and into law with everone who wants to exersize that right are trained properly and then EVERONE knows what to expect. An armed society is a polite society.

about being a superhero. Besides, when did CC every make anyone a super hero?
There is only one reason that I would CCW in allowed states and that is to Protec
my family and me if ever needed too and no other reason.
The only intent is to get used to carrying in a concealed manner as best as possible.

Possibly.
As stated above, you could run into a whole host of problems, ranging from, on one side of the spectrum, a minor inconvenience and slight delay in your daily schedule, to, on the other side of the spectrum, serious bodily injury or death.
Not trying to be melodramatic, but please note that Duracoat comes in OSHA Blue, Royal Blue, and CavRed and Stock Red.
I, for one, would hate to read about any harm befalling any of the forum bruddahs due to an unfortunate misunderstanding or mistake.

No.
As Nihonjin stated, a blue gun is not a weapon.
A blue gun is an inert pieces of plastic with no moving parts.
A blue gun is incapable of discharging a projectile, and is used primarily for training purposes.
Ultimately, whether you choose to "CCW" a blue gun is up to you.
Weigh the pros (gives you an idea of how to modify your mannerisms so as to minimize "printing," learn how to take a dump at a public restroom without spilling your mags or firearm onto the restroom floor, etc.) against the cons (weird looks from people who do notice you "printing," possibly getting hassles from HPD, possibly suffering serious bodily injury or death due to an incident that quickly escalates out of control), and choose which course of action works best for your purposes.

Yes. If you know what to look for (mannerisms, clothing, possessions that certain types of people are carrying).

I disagree strongly. Most people in Hawaii have no idea what they are looking at when they see the bulging radios, heavy duty belts, etc. No clue, therefore no panic.
For many here we know exactly what we are looking at and we know these guys are LEO's, so we don't freak out.
For the citizens who are certainly carrying and know what they are doing, I might suspect, but I can't truly tell because those guys know how to carry.

Ive seen some Pellet and BB pistols made by Barretta that have the weight and feel of a genuine gun; perhaps those are legal to CC?

I notice. I have often seen either off-duty LE, or on-duty "plain clothes" LE carrying. You are right, they aren't necessarily trained to "not print" and most make little effort to do anything other than the most basic concealment. They don't have to....a quick flash of tin (Badge) will get them out of any trouble a mere citizen would find themselves in under similar circumstances.
As for LE being better trained and therefore less likely to make a "mistake" in a shooting....maybe, but I think it's more the individual rather than the general training. Let's look at the New York shooting where NYPD fired at a guy who had just shot someone else. What was the number of innocent bystanders that got hit? What about the recent incidents in LA where not once, but twice, police opened up on two innocent citizens, who's vehicles didn't match the suspect and where none of the victims remotely resembled the guy they were looking for? Were any of those shootings a demonstration of the police's superior training and decision making capabilities? What about the NYPD transit officer that pulled out his firearm instead of his TASER and shot the guy in the subway?
The police, as the above cases demonstrate, are not subject to the same rules and laws as "us" in regards to use of force/firearms. Do you really think that you would have been found innocent of "reckless disregard" or "reckless endangerment" had you, as a CCW, shot 9 innocents trying to shoot someone else? Or that you'd be home in your bed if you had shot the heck out of a vehicle that was not an immediate threat, and in doing so, shot an innocent woman? Or that the media would have let those incidents slip so quietly into the past if they involved a CCW rather than the police?
Don't get me wrong, I understand the police have a difficult job, and that life changing decisions are sometimes made in a split second. I don't begrudge them that or support most of what happens when officers are forced into those difficult situations. But, rather I mention it to dispel that all too common notion that the police are so much better trained than "us" and that is why "we" should be held to different, and higher standards should we undertake carrying a firearm (where allowed to legally do so).

Okay, good point bruddah GZ... I qualify my post, above, to agree with you that plenty people may not know what they are looking at, and so, they don't freak out.

While standing in line at HPD, there was this old dude who just got through registering his handgun.
When he was done, he just stuck it in his waistband and just walked out.
A bunch of us was just watching him through the window going down the steps with his wife and into his car.
All the while you could see his handgun stuck in his waistband.
He did'nt even bother pulling his shirt over it.
It was pretty amazing and kind of funny at the same time.
