She fell from a 100 foot oak stupid tree and landed on her head. I think legislators are a reflection of how stupid voters are.

“The congresswoman has been working on a high-capacity assault magazine ban for years and has been deeply involved in the issue; she simply misspoke in referring to ‘magazines’ when she should have referred to ‘clips,’ which cannot be reused because they don’t have a feeding mechanism,” Johnson said.
and here they say again about how we (gun owners & NRA) distort facts:
Johnson called the attacks "just another example of opponents of common-sense gun-violence prevention trying to manipulate the facts to distract from the critical issue of keeping our children safe and keeping killing machines out of the hands of disturbed individuals. It's more political gamesmanship that stands in the way of responsible solutions."

Who REALLY is distorting facts? She stated a lie, a falsehood, something that goes way beyond assumption. So mad at stupidity :grrr: :grrr: :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

It's not just her. It's lots of these folks. I like the part where her "spokesperson", in an attempt to explain her error, didn't do much better.
And there's this snippet of the article below, which many of us have known all along- and it's not just her that falls in this class of "...apparently doesn't know anything about."
"The Colorado GOP called DeGette's statements "extremely alarming" because, the group said, she is running a piece of federal legislation that she apparently doesn't know anything about."
That's not news to me, but worth reporting, for those who didn't know this already.

Anybody selling any high capacity magazines? I'm going to Kokohead this weekend and I don't wanna send my entire mag supply down range. ::)
I'm buying 4 more 30-round mags tomorrow. I've gone through all my other magazine-clippy ammunition feeding devices, and I was unaware they can't be reloaded! Who knew?!! :crazy:

The scary thing is that she's one of the Democrats in charge of forming new legislation about guns and she's totally ignorant of the very thing she's trying to regulate. It would be akin to an illiterate being put in charge of a library.

Next time I'm at a hearing to submit testimony and if I ever hear something stupid like this, I'm going to laugh in their face, during the hearing.
That should be the new tactic. Instead of calling them out and "distorting" the facts, they should get laughed at immediately, hopefully making them feel stupid and hopefully changes their.mind.
