Title: At what age can my son start shooting bigger caliber firearms at Kokohead

My 10yr old son just recently past his hunters ed course and wanted him to start shooting bigger caliber firearms. Is he able to or does he still have to shoot .22lr?

I saw that.....but my friend was saying that if they had their hunting license, they could shoot bigger caliber under adult supervision..I'm trying to confirm if this is in fact true!

^^^I would ask the RSO's.  Possibly they might make an exception if you can demonstrate you know how to shoot safely, your son is taking this seriously, and you are providing good supervision?

13 years old for over .22 cal
Plink side they watch you when your with a younger kid not when theu get older
