Those were the days..
I remember $10 regular price and sale prices from $5-$8 for the High Velocity. I would stock up during the sales and would almost always have 5k to 10k rounds or so lying around my house. We used to go out camping for the weekend in the California desert and I would usually bring 4 or 5 bricks with me. All of us would bring our dirt bikes or baja bugs and our .22 rifles and pistols. There were times where I would come home with only a partial brick left.

Back then the target load was just the Remington green box Standard Velocity. Usually went for $14-$15 per brick and around $12 on sale.

I remember those boxes for $.99 at Sports Authority circa 1996. I think those are on par with Remington white box surplus that was procured by the .mil and later sold off by the CMP.

This must be some really good special edition stuff.  Post says "    Like  Eley Match" and " keeping match shooters winning.".  I should've got in on this one.
