What do I need to transfer a rifle from family member?

They need a permit to acquire if they are in Hawaii.  You give it to them and they go register it.

Give them a copy of your registration if possible (black out anything you dont want them to remember)

Make a copy of their permit and staple it to  your original registration.  YOU are responsible for knowing WHO you sold your gun to NOT HPD.

I beleive the OP is looking to aquire a rifle "from" a family member.

If this is so OP?, It would be the reciprical of what SpeedTek said. :thumbsup:
