Just scored a RAR in .308 from Sports authority ($390). I'd like to get a Leupold to keep it all American, but would like to know what you would put on this rifle, and why?

Guess it depends what kind of cash you are willing to part with and how far you are planning on shooting this thing.

NF NSX 5.5-22x50mm... a guy @on 2a was selling one for $1600 I think...
if you like long range than that bad boy will take you out to 1200 easily or if you like to see the 10" yard target at 3 feet away that's good too....
Nikon IMR or Vortex HP (I think that's the model? is very good too...
check midwayusa, they are having a sale or close outs on scopes with free shipping....

Redfield Revolution 4-12x with accu-range reticle.
Affordable. Very good Glass. Made ( at least assembled) in the USA.
And I like the accu-range reticle. Available with the 4-Plex reticle also.

The Vortex brand scopes are a great entry level with the best "bang for your buck" value.
They also resale very fast on the snipershide forms, If you desiced to upgrade later.
