Title: Intruder shot in gunfire with Houston resident

The irony of this story...gotto love it!

Intruders kicked in homeowner's front door, roughed up the resident, then placed him in an upstairs closet so they could ransack the home. Bad luck for the would-be bandits...that closet is where the resident kept his gun. When he thought the intruders were gone, the man left the closet, armed with his gun. However, he encountered one of the intruders downstairs and the two exchanged gunfire. One intruder wounded and the others fled.

Statement from a neighbor: "What happened today is exactly what guns are supposed to do - to protect your home and defend your life and your family."

wow pretty stupid to try and rob somebody in Texas.
