4 bouncers went to the shooting range together and the oldest bouncer "misfired" a weapon somehow, and they posted the "embarassing" video of him on facebook.. so he smoked all 3 of em! apparently he honed his firearm handling skills before going looking for them.

Sooooo.........how does one misfire a gun? ???

Apparently the other guys played some sort of trick on him.

Lobban allegedly shot each man once in the back of the head with a 9-mm pistol as the group left AJ’s around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. Lobban fled and ditched the gun and a black T-shirt in a nearby trash can. The weapon was found by a police K9 and Lobban was tracked down at his girlfriend’s home later that day.

What the hell does the author mean by "misfiring" a gun? Doesn't fire?

One of the things I used to do in years past was get guys familiar with firing 12 gauge birdshot. Once they feel confident, I'd load a slug at the end of the tube without telling them and let them shoot again. My brother once videoed one of our friends doing that, and said friend made him get rid of the video. Could possibly be something like that, especially if he was so surprised that he dropped the gun or got knocked back.

I could see that with a slug in a 12 gauge, but just wondering what it would take with a (probably) pistol?

I also have a Ruger SP101 in .357 Mag. Once students feel comfortable shooting centerfire ammunition, if they want to try it out, I routinely load it up with .38 Spl and include one .357 Mag as the very last. I do ensure that they can do this safely, and make sure that the .357 Mag is the last round that comes out, to avoid and unintentional second shot. Some guys get a kick out of it, and some dislike it and we don't shoot the .357 anymore. I also once shot someone's S&W .500 before, and that rattled my body. If they did something like that with a handgun, with him firing neutered rounds then one full power round, his reaction on video could be embarrassing enough for him to snap if he was a nut (kinda obvious now, though).

anyone have a link to the vid?

I haven't been able to find the "embarrassing" video of the bouncer "misfiring" a gun. My google-fu failed me :(
-
me too
ended up getting caught in the youtube trap and watching stupid fail/win, street fights, beat down vids

Make all bouncers "prohibited persons."
That orta do it.
(The logic behind this "reasonable restriction," is typical of the logical processes of most anti- types)
